Design Wall Monday 2/11

I do not really have a design wall this week since we were delayed due to illness this weekend.  I have one little section.

I was able to finish the first few arcs for the DRW quilt.  It was a bit of a challenge.  In fact it took four tries to be able to make the arc without pulling it out at least once.  I think I have the hang of it now.

This quilt will be at least a queen size so you may be seeing it for a while.

Be sure to check out the other design walls posted.  There is always great stuff to see.

Design Wall Monday.

I've been wanting to do a DWR for a long time. Yours looks lovely. I'll be watching your progress eagerly.

Really like the smaller number of pieces in your DWR. All the ones I have seen before have more sections in the arcs.... If you don't mind sharing, what pattern are you using? Really looks like a great start to an heirloom quilt!

Don't you love double wedding ring quilts? don't you wish they were easier to make??!! I'm doing one with scraps and paper piecing. Found it free on the internet.

Sandie I am using the Accuquilt Go cutter die. It gives each arc 5 pieces instead of 7 which is far easier to manage.

Brave. My double wedding ring ended up a table runner. Every now and again I think I'll try another.... Beautiful but not for me. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Everyone seems to recognize that you have taken on a daunting task, and one we all would like to do. If I were to try it, I would wind up with a pillow using just what you are showing today. ;-)

So nice to "meet" you!

I'm just getting around to your design wall. Love the project. The colors remind me of a quilt my grandma had.
